Are there surfaces I can't use Windex® Wipes on?
Windex® Wipes are great for touch ups on small surfaces like picture frames, mirrors and glass tabletops. However, we don't recommend using Windex® Wipes on wood, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, or upholstery.
Can I use Windex® Wipes on my car windows?
You can use Windex® Original Wipes on car mirrors. For car windows, we recommend using Windex® Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner. You can use Windex® Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner on your vehicle’s tinted windows, mirrors, glass, chrome, stainless steel, plastic, and vinyl surfaces.
How can I keep Windex® Wipes from drying out?
To avoid moisture loss, always seal the pack completely and store in a cool location between uses.
How can I use Windex® Wipes effectively to avoid streaks?
For best results, use Windex® Wipes on glass that is not in direct sunlight or is hot to the touch. This may cause the product to evaporate too quickly, causing streaks and limiting surface coverage.
