The Fast & Easy Clean Kitchen Schedule
With just a little daily attention, you can have an always-sparkling kitchen. There are lots of glass surfaces in your kitchen that you don’t often think about, but you can make the whole space brighter when you make them sparkle with Windex® brand.
Add a spritz of weekly wipe downs and splash of deep cleaning once a month for a space that truly shines.
Daily Do’s
1. Clean the counters
Use a multi-surface cleaner such as Windex® Multi-Surface Disinfectant Cleaner to clean and shine countertops made of sealed granite, sealed marble, Corian®, Formica® and more. For a gentle clean that also works on a variety of surfaces, try Windex® Vinegar Glass Cleaner.
2. Wipe the stovetop and glass surfaces
Windows aren't the only glass surface Windex® cleaner can make sparkle! Get rid of food residue and sticky film using Windex® Original Glass Cleaner on glass stovetops. Wiping down a glass toaster oven door only takes a second and makes the whole room seem brighter, too!
3. Do the dishes
If you can empty your sink every day, you can accomplish anything!
4. De-crumb the floor
Do a quick sweep. Or get a dog.
Weekly Wipe Downs

1. Inspect the fridge
Take an inventory and throw out any food that is spoiled or expired and wipe down shelves.
2. Shine stainless steel and glass appliances
Windex® Original Wipes make it easy to add a little sparkle to your kitchen. They are a great stainless steel cleaner for your refrigerator or dishwasher door. And don't forget to touch up the little glass surfaces in your kitchen like the oven door, microwave exterior or glass cabinets.
3. Clean the microwave
To make it easier, fill a microwave-safe bowl with 2 cups of water and run the microwave for about 5 minutes. The steam makes wiping off caked-on food splatters a breeze!
4. Empty the trash
Get in the habit of emptying trash cans and replacing liners at least every week.
5. Mop the floor
Put on sunglasses – this kitchen is gleaming.
Monthly Deep Cleaning

1. Wash garbage cans
Keep germs from getting out of hand and clean your empty trash can with Windex® Multi-Surface Disinfectant Cleaner. Give it a rinse outside or in the tub first!
2. Purge and clean cabinets
Still trying to find a use for that rock-hard brown sugar? Empty your cabinets of stale, rancid and unusable foods (including old spices, which lose their potency after 2 to 3 years), and wipe away crumbs and dust.
3. Deep clean the oven and stove
Clean the inside of your oven regularly with a strong oven cleaner. Consult the oven owner's manual for complete cleaning instructions.
4. Freshen the dishwasher
First, clear the drain. Then run a hot water cycle with the dishwasher empty. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for achieving a sparkling, stain-free interior.
